A Message from the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

March 16, 2020 | PPIHC | Competitor, Spectator

March 16, 2020

The PPIHC is aware of and following the CDC’s interim guidance suggesting the postponement of events involving more than 50 people over the next eight weeks. Our priority is to do our part in protecting the public health while still conducting the 98th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

We are closely monitoring this dynamic situation in coordination with federal, state, local and public health officials. We are planning for all contingencies and will be prepared to run this race on Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain as the COVID-19 situation permits.

As of this date, the 98th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 28th, as well as all ancillary events, including Fan Fest, are slated to take place as scheduled.
