Out in front is IndyCar veteran @jrhildebrand in the hybrid-powered ZR1X Corvette, clocking sub-4 minutes at 3:57.504.
8x Class Champion and PPIHC Hall of Famer @zwart earned P2 to kick off his 22nd year on the mountain in a Kelly Moss prepped Porsche GT2 RS Clubsport.
3x King of the Mountain and fellow PPIHC Hall of Fame Member @rennod returns with the @000magazine Porsche Turbo S just three seconds shy of Zwart’s 4:02.927 for P3.

First day of Practice and Qualifying is in the boo

First day of Practice and Qualifying is in the books with Open Wheel and Time Attack 1 competitors completing the lower section of the course.
From Colorado Springs, CO, the defending Open Wheel Champ, @novembre_racing, is looking strong and leads the pack in his Wolf GB08S TC Special with a 3:42.746.
On his tail, the Open Wheel record holder, @vahsholtzracing qualified second with a 3:51.323 in his trusty 2013 Ford Open.
A 2023 Fast 15 qualifier, @swanmotorsports earned third in the division with his one and only run of the morning due to a crash into a guardrail at Gilly’s Corner. Swan was evaluated by medical staff and has been cleared. Thanks to Race Safety for their swift action. Swan looks to make the necessary repairs to resume practice.
