The Unlimited Division features some of the most exotic vehicles in the world, many purpose-built for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. These racecars hold the best chance of setting a new overall course record.

Starting in 2026, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb introduces two new sub-classes within the Unlimited Division: Production-Based Class and Super Unlimited Class.

Production Based Class

The Production Based Class allows for unibody, steel tube chassis, or body on frame vehicles and the appearance must be based on a production vehicle.

Super Unlimited Class

The Super Unlimited Class is for prototype or monocoque vehicles.

These Classes help maintain the unique freedom for innovation found at Pikes Peak while also fostering strong competition among highly modified production based vehicles.
